Five vocabulary:

📌plausible (adj) :Seeming likely to be true, or able to be believed 貌似真實的、可信的

Ex:

The detectives thought the woman's story sounded plausible, even though it was a little strange. 

警探認為這名女子的故事聽起來可信，即便是有一點奇怪

📌virtual (adj): 1.Something that is virtual can be done or seen using a computer and therefore without going anywhere or talking to anyone.（透過電腦）虛擬的

2. Almost a particular thing or quality 幾乎…的；實質上的

Ex:

1.This is a virtual shopping centre offering visitors entry to a clutch of well-known etailers without going to their different websites. 

這是一個虛擬的購物中心，訪問者在此就可以瀏覽很多著名的網上零售店鋪，而無需分別訪問它們各自的網站。

2.She suffered a virtual breakdown when her marriage broke up. 

當她的婚姻破裂時，她幾乎崩潰了。

📌psychologist (n): someone who studies the human mind and human emotions and behaviour, and how different situations have an effect on people. 心理學家

Ex:

She spent 15 years as a clinical psychologist. 

她做了15年的臨床心理學家。

📌entity (n): Something that exists apart from other things, having it sown independent existence. 實體;獨立存在體

Ex:

He regarded the north of the country as a separate culturalentity.

他把這個國家的北部地區視爲一個獨立的文化實體。

📌encounter (n): 1. A meeting, especially one that happens by chance. 偶然相遇，邂逅，不期而遇

2. An occasion when two teams play against each other. (體育)比賽，交鋒

Ex:

1. I had an alarming encounter with a wild pig.

我曾經意外地碰到過一頭野豬，真是驚險。

2. In their last encounter with Italy, England won 3–2.

在上次和義大利隊的對壘中，英格蘭隊三比二獲勝。
